You know we have science right? Its not 1200 anymore, we know what like the sun and stars are. We don't have to pray for good harvest or do rain dances anymore.

Do you have proof of this afterlife? Or are you just speaking from some fabled book that you just happen to believe in because you were born in America to Christian parents?

LOL, what a retarded comeback. You must be offended b y statements that question your belief in fairytales. Do you believe that it's only liberals who don't believe in afterlifes? Are there no liberal Christians?

Who said anything about being Christian. I said afterlife. You're making an assumption that I'm Christian. Believing in life after death doesn't make someone Christian. Atheists are certainly a minority on the world scale. I respect all religions (with the exception of scientology) as well as the belief in no religion. I just think its silly when atheists put down others for their beliefs. So someone wants to put up a Christmas tree in the mall, or a nativity scene. Why does that offend you? Are you going to start walking into Chinese restaurants and ask proprietors to cover up their Buddhas? If someone wants to kneel toward Mecca in the office, does that warrant a complaint to HR?

Is it that you derive some kind of courage for facing mortality as the end of it all? And that everyone else is weak b/c they want to cling to the fact that there's something after this life?

Lots of questions, I know. Just mind your own business. And who knows, maybe some culture out there got it right. We'll never know until the next step.

^^that's a lot of text that didn't answer my question.

okay, let me rephrase my questions:

Do you believe that it's only liberals who don't believe in afterlifes? Are there no liberal people of religion?

Putting up a Christmas tree doesn't offend me (i actually put up a small one in my house last year).

What does it matter if atheists are a minority on the world scale? So are educated people.

I think Buddhas in Chinese restraunts are cool, although Buddhism isn't their primary religion. Taoism is more popular, but they don't actually have a dominant religion.

I'd rather someone not kneel before Mecca in the break-room, but I'm fine if they want to do it in their office.

The reason people hate Christianity is because this is america and most people are christians and most people are retarded. Those two things are not necessarily directly correlated but are often found in harmony.
