At my last job (my first out of college) we got a $50 prepaid visa. While that sounds "better than nothing at all", it wasn't that great on the following paycheck when they deducted ~$20 for the taxes on that $50 visa. So glad I'm out of there now

They split our yearly bonus into two parts, 30% in december and 70% in june. It's some calculation like (business unit score) x (% of salary based on pay band) x (your performance score), something like that. After taxes I think my december bonus will be around $2,000.

A few years ago we were getting shit for bonuses and having winter furloughs, so I'm counting my blessings.

typically my wife and I don't (same company) but my wife did just get a surprise bonus (albeit small) for something she headed up this year. Just a coincidence that she got it last week though.

For the week before Christmas, I got my raise that was backtracked to July. However, there is no Christmas bonuses. Apparently there used to be Christmas parties too for the local branches, those are gone except in NYC and you have to pay to go to it?

But I did get a 7% raise for half the year and I performance pay in 9 days where on my team I had the largest close which was equal to the sum of all of theirs.
