Glennon is obviously amazing. I mean if he was good enough to get NFL superstar Russell Wilson thrown off the team he clearly should go in the top 3 overall

I love how Teo ran a 4.8, however in his interviews, he was stating that he had been running 4.5's and thats what he expected to run at his pro day. I don't care how "long" of a day you've had, you don't lose .3 off of your 40 time.

Te'o is fucked. He's not particularly gifted physically, he's going to have a rough go of it in interviews, and he's got character/common sense issues (depending on how much you believe of his story). His strength is that he's got good instincts, but in the one game against close to pro level talent he looked awful, was physically dominated, and lacked speed. I would not at all be surprised to see him drop to the middle to late stages of round 2.

wouldnt draft him first three rounds. Too slow, bad tackler, media circus not worth it. Can't play every down and he's at one of the least important positions in football MLB

I'm not one to expect Mike Glennon to be some kind of Tom Brady in the NFL. He has a nice arm and is the most recent Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco's height, so he can obviously see over the offensive line better than many QBs, but I think he really needs to continue to work in the weight room and work on on-the-field passing drills to make himself better. Sure the drops last year didn't help him, but if he wants to have a long professional career, he needs to focus on 3 things: weight room, practice field and film study room. Not his suntan.

Arizona did hold a private workout with him, but these days that doesn't mean anything. Could also mean they're looking at him in the 3rd round.

Also says amerson could sneak into the late first round.

LOL, I know Wonderlic doesnt mean a whole lot, but I would imagine you would have to try to get a fucking 7 out of 50

and Tennessee's sterling academic department must be cringing at their two prospects scoring an 11 and 12

Quote :
"
The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports West Virginia WR Tavon Austin scored a seven on his Wonderlic Test at the Combine.
The Journal-Sentinel's Bob McGinn has exclusive access to Wonderlic scores each year, and he reveals them for some top wide receivers at the linked article below. Tennessee's Cordarrelle Patterson registered an 11 out of 50. College teammate Justin Hunter scored a 12. Keenan Allen (19) and Robert Woods (23) were much better. Ultimately, Wonderlic scores have zero correlation to NFL success. Troy Williamson scored a 21, while A.J. Green scored a 10. Redskins busts Devin Thomas and Malcolm Kelly both scored in the 20s. "

"ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Jets have given Darrelle Revis permission to visit the Bucs and undergo a physical.
It's a necessary, yet significant, step toward finalizing a trade. As Schefter also notes, the Jets would have never granted Revis permission to undergo a physical with the Bucs if they didn't believe a trade could be worked out. Assuming Tampa Bay is happy with what it sees, then a trade should go down shortly. Latest rumors have the Jets acquiring first-, third-, and fifth-round picks in exchange for the soon-to-be 28-year-old All-Pro cornerback. "

Now that the jets have the 13th pick as well, there are rumors that they will try to trade up with the jags or raiders and select milliner.

For a team as terrible as the jets, trading up for milliner would be retarded. That said, I expect them to do it.

1 Kansas City - Luke Joeckel, OT. This makes sense as theyll likely trade Albert for a 2nd round pick and replace him with with Joeckel. Probably a good move for the Chiefs who need players at probably every position except for RB.

2 Jacksonville - Dion Jordan, OLB/DE. Jacksonville could easily trade down here. I actually expect them to, but I'm not going to guess (NYJ/SD/MIN). The Jags have needed a pass rusher for years, Jordan could be the answer. Just like the Chiefs, the Jags need players at every position except for RB.

3 Oakland - Sharrif Floyd, DT. Oakland could also trade down with the same teams that were mentioned with the Jags' pick. Oakland needs a player to step into the void that Richard Seymour left. The team really likes floyd, who I personally think will be a bust.

4 Philadelphia - Eric Fisher, OT. Andy Reid would get a boner for this pick all the way from KC. Seriously though, OT is a need as herremans and peters have been having issues staying healthy and even when healthy, may not be the type of athletic tackle that Chip Kelly will need to have in his system. Fisher is.

5 Detroit - Dee Milliner, CB. I could really see Milliner or Lane Johnson here. They both would fill needs, but I gave the edge to Milliner as Detroit is finding out that you can only get so far off of bringing in retreads in the secondary every year.

6 Cleveland - Chance Warmack, OG. Cleveland loaded up on D via free agency, so it makes sense to shore up the offensive line while Weeden keeps the spot warm for the QB thr Browns draft in the 1st round next year. Mutliple scouts have called Warmack the best guard theyve scouted in the past 6-8 years.

7 Arizona - Lane Johnson, OT. Carson Palmer will die on the field by week 6 if the Cardinals dont start assembling talent on their OL. Johnson will be a great player on ther line for a decade......now for 3 other OL spots........

8 Buffalo - Geno Smith, QB. Well, i could see the bills trade down here, but I'm not going to project a trade. If I were their GM, I'd draft an offensive lineman and wait for next year on the QB. Based on the typical bills bed-shitting drafing offensive players model, they go with Geno

9 New York Jets - Barkevious Mingo, DE/LB. The Jets need a lot of help. Especially at QB but the guys on the board wouldnt be a good value here. With the Jets trading Revis, they'll need to improve their pass rush to compensate for their less skilled secondary. Mingo is the best fit at the 3-4 OLB.

10 Tennessee - Ezekiel Ansah, DE. The Titans get a steal here because not only is Ansah a perfect fit, a lot of the other teams will likely let him slide because of his age. Fortunately, he hasnt been playing football for much of his life, so he may have more run on him than a lot of guys.

Coming soon...........

This will be a fun draft. Tons of teams wanting to move down, a lot of new coaches and GMs up near the top that we arent sure what the hell they are going to do... should be a ton of trades.

I think they're projecting Nassib to Buffalo because the HC coached him for 3 years and he knows the system he wants to run. Also reports coming out now that Buffalo is worried that the Jets are planning on taking Nassib and pick 3 times before Buffalo's 2nd pick.

I think Buffalo takes OL in the first and then trades back up before the Jets in the 2nd round and takes Nassib.

Comments:

I really think Eifert slides if he makes it past pick 17, but a team like ATL could trade up for him.
I could see 2 teams trade up into the first round to draft Nassib,EJ Manuel, Barkley, or glennon.

If Buffalo passes on Nassib at 8(which would be smart), I bet they trade back into the end of the first or early 2nd before the Jets 3rd pick to grab him.

I think 1 QB goes in the 1st round, at most 2. But I could see a "QB Run" in the 2nd round where one or two go and teams wanting a QB make sure they trade up to get one of the top few guys.

there are prop bets on the draft... one of them is the O/U on defensive players taken in the 1st round with the total being 7. Seems like EASY money.

Also, Jets go OL in the first.

^ are you sure that bet wasn't defensive linemen and not just defensive players. No way they'd set a line at 7 for all defensive players especially in a draft where QB, RB, and WR is weak.
