I don't know of anything south of it unless you make it all the way down to Lake Wylie that splits the NC/SC border

so I heard from an employee that they broke the company records for full opening day sales and the following Saturday broke record sales and actually recorded higher sales in a good percentage of the other stores opening days.

makes sense though. lots of disposable income in the Cary area. and Bass Pro Shops is usually a store that you only see while you're on vacation. so it's not like you're going to make a big purchase then.

We have an REI though, so its ok.

And the parking lot is still too small. I feel bad for all of the other stores in that strip mall. They get no parking on Saturday/Sunday.

I dont feel bad for them, they used to get no traffic Monday-Sunday.
