I bet he amended his taxes after the election to account for the money he gave to the church. If he took the deductions he could've taken then he would be around 10%. 1/31/2013 12:23:52 AM

For all who need the the simplified formula:
AGI / TTP = ETR
AGI = Adjusted Gross Income TTP* = Total taxes paid/and Credits minus your refund OR in addition to what taxes you may owe ETR = Effective tax Rate
