reminds me of Eric Rudolph that took 5 years to catch.

this shit is crazy:
Quote :
"On March 7, 1998, Rudolph's older brother, Daniel, videotaped himself cutting off his left hand with a radial arm saw in order to, in his words, "send a message to the FBI and the media."[12] The hand was successfully reattached.["

I doubt they catch him without something going terribly wrong first.

He has obviously planned this out for a LONG time and chose this mountain and terrain. Looks like it is working to his advantage.

With all the manifestos and things he left behind, he knew what he was/is doing.

Smoke and Mirrors boys.

Terribly wrong....

I related news, the LAPD almost murdered two Hispanic women that they mistook for Dorner

http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-torrance-shooting-20130209,0,4414028.story

Basically, they mistook these two women delivering papers in a blue Toyota Tacoma, for a large black guy in a Titan pickup truck. Then sprayed the vehicle with bullets. And even with that, they STILL didn't kill their intended target, though not with a lack of trying Thank god.

So no one else believes my theory that he offed himself over a body of water and made sure all the evidence would sink to the bottom? He may have wanted to live on as an unsolved mystery.

It makes no sense why he would burn his truck up on the mountain, when no one was looking for him there or the truck, only reason would be to throw them off of something.

How is that not more plausible than your first theory? If he is to be taken at his word, his sole purpose while he continues to live is to continue to live so that he can eradicate the lives of everyone who he feels directly wronged him, and to attack the institution itself. This guy spent a significant amount of time preparing for this. I don't think he's some mastermind or anything, but he definitely probably planned ahead and had some options and contingencies available to him. He might not make it much longer, but he is singularly focused on that goal I think. I wouldn't be surprised if he was able to get one more target if he is able to draw this out long enough. I'm not hoping for that outcome, but it's plausible.

id love to know of a scenario where he could off himself and it not be obvious.

he couldnt just jump off a boat and drown...the boat would still be there.

maybe if he fed himself to wild hogs?

i mean really...tell me a way to kill yourself AND disappear?

So please clarify the reason he was fired.

Per wiki...

Quote :
"Dorner joined the Los Angeles Police Department in 2005, and completed police academy training in 2006.[3] He was deployed as a reservist to Bahrain for 13 months shortly afterward, and on his return was paired with Sergeant Teresa Evans to complete his probationary training.[3] Dorner, while still a probationary officer, filed a complaint accusing Evans of kicking Christopher Gettler, a suspect who suffered from schizophrenia, during an arrest while Gettler was handcuffed and lying on the ground.[8][9] The LAPD investigated the complaint.[3] Three hotel employees who witnessed "most" of the incident who were interviewed by LAPD detectives claimed that they did not see the training officer kick the man.[3] Gettler was brought to the police station and given medical treatment for injuries to his face, but he did not mention being kicked at that time.[3] However, some time later, his father said that Gettler had told him that an officer had kicked him.[3][10] In a videotaped deposition, Christopher Gettler testified that he was kicked in the head by a female police officer on the day in the place in question.[11] An internal review conducted by the LAPD found that Dorner had lied, and he was dismissed in 2008 for "making false statements about his training officer".[1] No action was taken against Teresa Evans for her role in the alleged incident. In his online manifesto, Dorner cited this as a case of wrongful dismissal, and one of his primary motivations for the shootings."

So he filed a complaint...internal investigation found he lied even though the schizo said he was kicked in the head...so he was fired?

Allegedly he was kind of incompetent during training. Also he allegedly shot himself in the hand during training.

I'm probably a lot more accepting of vigilantism than most...I mean, I know why we can't tolerate it from a judicial perspective, but I really don't care when someone gives some motherfuckers what they deserve...

but (1) killing someone's family? That's sociopathic. (2) Even if you're of the school of thought that responses should be a little disproportionate...killing people because you got fired from your job? That's not legit. Torch his fucking car or house or something if you feel that strongly, but killing someone over that?

there are instances where it wouldn't be legal, but I would totally understand someone killing people. I mean, if someone molested my daughter or something, I don't know what I'd do. If I pulled some Punisher shit, it wouldn't be legal, but I wouldn't view it as wrong (in fact, I would view it as very right). If someone climbed the belltower and killed all the Westboro Baptist Church members...it would be murder--but it would be some pretty sweet murder. The paradox is that I wouldn't advocate legislation to excuse such behavior, but on an individual level, I'd have no problem with it.

I don't even know that anyone did anything malicious to this dipshit, though. Hell, half of the people who he's flipping out at probably don't even know him. They probably met him in passing, at most, and just knew and signed off on what they read in his file.

what reprehensible things have the westboro people done other than have extremely inflammatory stances on which they act within the confines of the law? Especially enough to where their deaths would be sweet?
I could see where they picket someone's funeral and a dude snaps and goes ape on them with a crowbar, and they would totally be asking for it, but I don't think i'd exactly call it a good thing.
This Dorner guy used the same motivation for assault as a youth in school because he couldn't handle name calling, and stands by it today.

I think there was a lot more to him snapping than just being called a n$%^&%. According to his manifesto, Dorner actually seems to have some morals and believe in right and wrong. (asside from killing the other cops families. I have no problem with this guy offing crooked, blood thirsty, hippy beating, dirty cops.

I bet this guy is going to lay low for a while to scare the lapd as long as possible. Then he'll go out in a blaze. They also said his truck had a broken axle, so it wouldn't have worked. That's weird that his truck broke down since no one had found him yet. I bet it was a distraction and he had another form of transportation to get out of there.

Bomani Jones made a good point on twitter, at this point the people of la are more afraid of the lapd than dorner. He must be loving all the bad press, just reinforcing his thoughts of corruption.

If you read his entire manifesto/letter-to-the-public, its about a lot more than that.

Among his claims:

-LAPD patrol will purposely inflate the severity of the crimes they respond to, including allowing a dying victim to bleed out. This is because the severity of the crime they are responding to will affect the amount of pay they get.
-White LAPD officers are racists
-Black LAPD officers mistreat white subordinate officers, perpetuating the cycle of hate
-LAPD officers take bribes from drug dealers
-He was frequently called nigger by white officers
-He was the victim of LAPD conspiracy, due to his frequent reporting of other officer's misconduct

Is anyone even going to consider that maybe this guy was a sub-par cop. His police academy classmates said he sucked, I think he failed one academy and had to repeat it in another class, and he apparently shot himself in the hand during training. By a lot of accounts, he sucked as a cop.

And, although Im no psychiatrist, perhaps this dipshit has a mental illness with a symptom being a persecution complex, and therefore feels he was somehow wronged even though he was a moron.

This guy is fucking retarded and nuts, from his gay ass manifesto:

Quote :
"
"Mia Farrow said it best. "Gun control is no longer debatable, it's not a conversation, its a moral mandate."

"Off the record, I love your new bangs, Mrs. Obama. A woman whose professional and educational accomplishments are second to none when compared to recent First wives."

"It's kind of sad I won't be around to view and enjoy The Hangover III. What an awesome trilogy. Todd Phillips, don't make anymore Hangovers after the third, takes away the originallity of its foundation."

"World War Z looks good and The Walking Dead season 3 (second half) looked intriguing. Damn, gonna miss shark week."
