With UNC's win last night, if UVA loses at FSU tonight, then UNC locks in a Thursday bye, correct?

UNC has locked a Thursday bye regardless of UVA's game tonight. If UVA, State and UNC are tied with 6 losses then we get 5th, if UVA loses either tonight or this weekend they will have a worse record than UNC.

So Virginia has the tiebreaker against us. We have the tiebreaker against UNC. UNC has the tiebreaker against UVA. In that circular arrangement, what determines the seeding (and screws us over)?

Basically we have to hope for UVA not going 2-0. That screws us completely. Unfortunately their last two games are easy, so hello to first day of the tournament.

not that i would be teary eyed if we did end up playing on thursday. we almost got into the final game as a 5th seed last year and we'd have a chance to make history.

I know UNC is playing well right now, but who have they beaten during this good stretch for them? UVa and NC State at home. Two teams that are not good road teams and we were in position to win if we hadn't fallen apart late in the 2nd half.

Clearly UNC's win over UVa cannot be considered good when they have lost back to back games to BC and FSU. I guess I'll be rooting for UNC on Saturday for seeding reasons, but really I just hope Duke and UNC play a close, physical game that leads to an injury or two.

So I won tickets to all sessions on Thursday but they're at will call under my name so I can't transfer them to anyone. Does anyone know what time will call typically opens or if it's possible to pick up the tickets prior to Thursday?

Either Duke or UNC is going to be in the final game regardless.

The question is whether you'd want to play Duke on Saturday and get one fewer win than you would playing them on Sunday, or play UNC on Saturday and have a slightly better chance.

If we get the 3 seed, we get (more than likely) UMd, then Duke, then probably UNC because they'll beat Miami.

If we get the 4, we get UVa, then probably UNC, then Duke.

Then again, we could get 5th and maybe play Virginia Tech and then UVa and then Miami and then Duke and get 3 wins, but let's not test it.
