I worked and lived in Miami. I have been around the nightlife and I do enjoy techno, but your posts consist of nothing but sheep/bandwagon talk. Reason why everyone is trolling you.

You also think Miami and European nightlife are similar.

Another reason to troll you IMO.

Please enlighten us with your extensive travels.

Hardwell's set was best set probably but AVB had some great tracks especially his new song
I liked A&B's set but it was cut short

Did you watch shm?

I never said AVB was MY favorite DJ, but he is consistently ranked among the top in the world. Can't really argue with it, whether you like him or not

for trance I like Gareth Emery, Markus Schultz, Lange, and Above & Beyond are probably the best right now.

^^^ Yeah I can't argue with that, I just have a grudge against him. I bought two pretty expensive records he did as "Perpetuous Dreamer", I really liked some of the other AVB stuff and "Future Fun Land", so I thought I would like these and the store didn't have a turntable, when I got them home "The Sound of Goodbye" and "Dust.wav" were the worst records I had ever heard.

I might be wrong, but from your post in the context of this thread, I assume you know very little about electronic music.

Just an FYI, Armin van Buuren specializes in trance music: It may sometimes sound like house music and occasionally like techno, but those are three different types of dance music with only partial crossover; also EDM is a fairly well-known initialism for "Electronic Dance Music" as distinguished from "electronica" or the even less-similar "electronic listening music" and it's unfortunate that BubbleBobble is such a bumpkin that he hasn't heard those terms before.

i know very little about this stuff but so fun to participate!

I just heard A-Trak (Chromeo was with), Oliver, and Brite Nites here in NYC April 20. I really liked this one DJ they had in the basement named Subset. My friend is a DJ in charlotte and she was telling me the different genres mixed in and I was incorrect to call it techno. LOVE!

I clicked the OP and it was fatboy slim
I miss old epic trance like trance energy, talla xl2c, avb, van dyk, tiesto, oakenfold, when all those guys were killing it, before ferry corsten got on the scene.

i thought one day i'd have cash and go to ibiza summer parties but now they are dead

The scene is dead in Ibiza? That's news to me! I was in Majorca during the winter and even then it seemed to have a pulse. Trance has gone in a ton of different directions over the years and if you give it a chance there are plenty of talented producers that make great music. Sorry that DJ Sammy isn't popular anymore, but that ship sailed a while ago...
