It does kinda suck that now things you write not thinking when you are a freshman in college could screw you over later. These sorta things have been happening forever and I am sure a whole bunch of us have said things we didnt really mean at the time. Granted most of us are not running for public office either.

I mean people can say whatever they want on a public forum, as long as they are prepared to accept the consequences, especially in this day in age where anything posted online is easily accessed and stored.

The dude is obviously doing this for attention. Scandal and drama go hand-in-hand with politics. Any press is good press.
