I think I would take a minute to assess the situation, determine if the area is safe and who needs help, checking for children first. If there aren't any children then I'd start with the most injured or most readily available to help. Then I'd just follow orders from EMS and police.


But if someone has a gun and no one is injured, then I'm going to run like hell. And I know this from experience.

I'm a lot better at helping people than I am at running, and adding to the chaos by attempting to run would only make things worse.

Then again, I say this now, but I'd probably be trying not to freak the fuck out otherwise. Regardless, I'd probably try to hide instead of running.
