you should call them back and force them to bore under the driveway. What they're about to do is going to result in the communications cable not being buried anywhere close to deep enough to protect it. Their technicians and subcontractors are lazy shits that never want to do anything more than scratch the surface of your yard and place cable in it.

They don't give a shit about losing a customer. they only way to get them to back off on charging you for a damaged cable is to threaten reporting them to the utilities commission for having underground facilities not buried according to the requirements of the NESC and NEC. I cut one of TWC feeder cabled to my building once, then put up all the tools and bounced until after midnight. When I came back they had hooked everyone else back up but me, I had to go back in the box and put my cable back on the junction. 5/18/2013 12:50:57 PM |
