^^African American does not imply you were born in Africa. It simply states that your ancestors came from African. Where is the country "white" located? You're European American. 4/30/2013 8:25:10 AM

I am European American by ancestral claim. But I was born in the US. I identify myself as an American. American blacks always preach about being treated as equals yet they identify themselves with a continent, not talking about a country. We talking about a continent.
You are an American. Stop trying to segregate yourself. 4/30/2013 5:19:30 PM

Last I checked, there was no option for 'American' on the census survey. Are you sure it's black people that are segregating themselves? I mean, historically in the U.S., it hasn't been the case that blacks have segregated themselves from the rest of the population. It's been more like they've been told they aren't like everyone else, can't use the same eating establishments or water fountains, have to go to different schools, can't enjoy the same rights or privileges, etc...
It seems to me that blacks are embracing both a convoluted cultural ethnicity and a race categorization that was forced onto them when saying they're "African American". I do agree though, that in the U.S., the concept of race and ethnicity makes very little sense in identifying nationality.

For some reason, this made me look up the article on Australian Americans. And it totally exists!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_American
But lameness, these aren't ancestral Australians. You need to get an aboriginal Australian, make him/her a US citizen, then they'll be an Australian American. That article is about European Americans.
So mad

I never noticed white people being more noise averse than any other group. If it's true, I wonder if it is because white people tend to be introverts more often than extroverts (seemingly). 4/30/2013 8:03:02 PM

I can only assume this means that you saw Professor X at slims. If so, I am sorry. That shit does not belong outside of house shows.
m not racist black people tend to like loud noises..white people not so much. white people tend to hurry...black people not so much these statements are not racist...,they are simply disagreements between two different cultures
furthermore, the actions they address are basically neural.
If I'd said something like "Blacks and Latinos commit way more violent crimes, per capita, than whites." or "Black and Latino children are almost singlehandledly responsible for the US 's educational crisis, since if we remove their scores and consider only those scores of the whites, America's scores shoot up into the top tier" if you said one of these things, you'd be racist (not that either is true or logical).
but a like/dislike for speed/noise? that's not racist, that's just part of a race's national character.
I'm still bleeding
Not real sure what's happening in here except that the OP is stereotyping and perhaps racist but the example in this quote of racism is actually not because it is verifiable using statistics and facts.
