Quote : | "great job Steve for contributing to her upcoming fattiness. it is so sickening when parents openly contribute to destroying their children.
sorry, i am just venting, as i see stupid parents on a daily basis who engage in passive child abuse. maybe your step-daughter is also a budding gymnast, i wouldn't know.
but if during her free time she mostly sits and plays electronic games...." |
She swims, she dances, she plays soccer, she is always riding her bike. She only plays electronics on rainy days (We live in Seattle, WA) or before bed. Kid won't be fat. 6/5/2013 7:46:09 PM

Don't know if you've already gotten her gift or not yet, but (if you can get it) Walmart has a Hisense Sero 7 Pro Android Tablet for $150. Incredibly hard to get your hands on one, since they sell out really quickly every time it's restocked. She can use it to stream NetFlix, play saved video files, take pictures, draw, play games, read eBooks, etc. It's more versatile than most "kid" tablets and cheaper than other tablets. It also has a Kid's Place function to keep her out of your stuff, but you need a PIN to get out of.
If you want to go the more economical route...go to Michaels. They have TONS of costume jewelry (often right near the cash register) and you can get a handful of mature, sparkly bracelets for about $5 each. Super Walmart will also have nice bracelets in the sewing/crafts section. Sears/JC Penney will often have stuff (like rings) comparably priced that look realistic too.
