I somehow stayed up until the end of the third quarter. I figured that San Diego and Rivers would fuck it up before then...but I thought they might be able to keep it up. Guess I was wrong.

I have pretty much lost all confidence in Rivers' ability to win games. I know he actually played well and probably doesn't deserve a lot of blame for this loss...I just think he's fully embodied NC State shit at this point. If there's a chance for him to the lose the game, he's going to lose it.

Good for him in balling out and getting that big contract a couple years ago. Because it looks like his prime is well behind him at this point.

Then he had ONE more pass for the rest of the game before the bullshit drive at the end.

Instead, a bunch of RB's who didn't break 100 yards as a group until they were trying to kill clock got to dictate how the final 1/3rd of the game went for the Chargers.

Ryan Matthews, who had a whopping 45 yards, got all the touches in the final drive where they tried to kill the clock.
