I went ahead and switched now...

$79 for the phone and $29/mo. So first month is like $110. Second month is $29. I'm currently paying $83/mo, so after the second month I've already started saving money ($23). Once the new phones roll out, I"ll pick one up, but even if that's not until the end of September, I'll save save ~ $77 between now and then while still maintaining near identical service that i currently receive. No contract, so if I'm not happy after 2 months, I'll got back to Verizon. It's a no brainer to give it a shot, especially if you are in a city like Raleigh where coverage isn't an issue*

*based on my friends' experiences.

Verizon Wireless does not care about poor people.

$60+$40 is a better deal than $89+$30 which is what unlimited talk, text, and data used to cost. The plan is actually cheaper now.
