just from a fleeting glance at the comparison between the two

it looks like The Beatles didn't actually treat the stars as if they were drag queens or whatever it is the Stones were (attempting to) do(ing)

i.e. the Beatles didn't disrespect them or in a sense "make a mockery" of them such as the Stones did

not surprising at all that the Stones would get sued for that..

or as posted in the link above, it seems that a lot of the people on sgt. peppers album gave the beatles permission. several declined, some asked for money and weren't included, and some like shirley temple asked to hear the album before she gave permission to include her likeness
