I have a company truck. The car usually sits at the house most of the time

I guess my gf drives it frequently, but her job now is about a mile away

Thanks to strong resale value for many popular used cars it doesn't usually make as much sense to buy a 1-2 year old car instead of a new one, especially if you can get 0% APR financing.

yeah, you really need to run out the money. we ended up with a brand new car because the 1-2 year old cars just weren't that much cheaper. poor economy and tight credit means used car prices are inflated, so if you have the credit to get good financing I'd go new. (obviously only after running the numbers for your particular case)

carfax and auction direct are fine in general, just keep in mind that the you are paying for the no haggle experience. it might be easy, but their prices are usually higher.

that's a pretty big *if*. plus you can get used rates at 2%. but i def hear what you're saying

Not that I don't agree with you, but given the content of this thread I don't think that is what BJ is really looking for. Besides the acceleration figures, you should probably list fuel mileage as well if you're trying to make a compelling argument

Don't show anyone over at http://www.ft86club.com those Camry quarter mile times. They might start crying.

sure it does

it's not like they're stump-pullers or gas sippers compared to the rest of the segment

my point was crank hp doesn't change, though speed numbers might suffer
