^did the cops see the kid? Probably. What were they supposed to do, she ran from a check poi t at the whitehouse and headed for the capitol... They don't know what she had in her trunk, and she already used her vehicle as a battering ram. It sucks, but I can't say they were out of line.

she was shot later when she drove up to another barrier and rammed it and one of the guards at whatever gate she was at shot her then.

Did she use her vehicle as a battering ram, or is what we saw in the video the extent of it? Because, that looks like she just backed into a cop car and then immediately took off. The video might not have caught everything, I don't know.

the shots where she was actually killed came after the video, and on the way to that she hit a cop car and injured the officer inside and then afterwards rammed into another gate or barrier or something.

i dunno about the truth of it, but i read the cop had to be removed with the jaws of life.

LEOs shoot at people. more specifically, they shoot people in the torso. they do not shoot at tires. that shit only happens in the movies. even if they could hit the tires, it wouldn't stop the car.

it would be incredibly difficult to shoot a car tire as it's driving away from you with a duty pistol. have you ever been shooting?

I'd call her backing up in the video using a battering ram. She used her vehicle and got the officers to move. Its enough of an intent, in my eyes, that she didn't give a fuck and would take anyone down who got in her way.

It would be nice if they didn't shoot at all unless deadly force was warranted, in which case they should be shooting center of mass in most cases (with tactical snipers shooting CNS--i.e., head shots, occasionally when the situation dictates).

I think they were in the process of popping up when he hit them. Which is funny because they made a point on the news of saying that the pop up barriers worked as they were supposed to, but it looks like she got through and moments later they popped up and hindered the pursuit

I read an interview a report citing a previous incident with her boyfriend and it definitely sounds like she had post partum psychosis.

Wasn't an interview, but reports of a previous incident where he called the police.
