I questioned him as soon as I heard that we were going to a 4-2-5 defense this year, the same defense that UNC has been using as they get destroyed the last several years.

hey uh...they only scored 9 points after BC went up 21-14 early in the 2nd Q. I'd say he made some adjustments.

And I'm not event trying to defend him. He's shown very little that is encouraging over his time here. But I thought the D played halfway decent after the 1st Q.

yeah credit where it's due. got some lucky bounces on fumble recoveries...those are basically 50/50 balls that went our way today. but clemson is a damn good offense and we limited their big plays, made some stops ourselves. holding clemson to 17 in regulation is damn impressive.

our defense has been fine this year. Hux rightly has received criticism over his time here, but this year i don't think we have a ton to complain about. it's no juggernaut of a unit, but we've been solid defensively.

Uhmmm no we have not.

We still get burned all the time passing the ball and our LBs are mediocre at best.

The only good part of the defense is D line and lately they've been not so great.

Run defense was #7 before the unc game. Gotta imagine that'll only get better. Again, our d isn't a perfect unit. But it has most definitely improved.
