Started evening at Tobacco Rd with my favorite bartender and my best friend. Drank for about 4 hours there.

Walked up to Brooklyn Heights and saw a band we like play, rang in the new year there and then left about 12:30.

Headed up to our local bar where a friend of ours was DJing, drank on the house for showing up (loyal customer perks ftw) went til 2am

Got a drunk text from a girl I was seeing that wanted to come over. Who was I to turn her down?

lol i have a cabbie on speed dial. Hassan, he's an older gentleman. Used to drive a cab in NYC and moved down here about 10-12 years ago. He's actually back in school and will finally graduate this spring and no longer drive a cab. Which is awesome.

He's been "my driver" for probably 7-8 months. He picked me up at 4am NYE night. I'm only a $10 ride home from anywhere in the city, but i tipped him VERY well for this trip.

^correct. was just saying we were all dressed up for a sane party in a $700k house but ended up at a shit show in a $550/month apartment. Not where I expected my night to go, but it was fun.
