So on Sunday I watched the neighbor at the end of the building go outside and pick up all the piles of poop in front of my unit. Her little dog is definitely not the one making huge piles in front of our house. I wonder if she has been doing this for a while or something spurred her to do it. Also, did she pick up the whole common area, just stuff by the sidewalk, or just in front of our place.


The immediate neighbors are still letting their dogs poop wherever and leaving it, but so far this week it has not been in front of our unit. I wonder if she caught me snapping a picture the other day?

I consider the yard when debating to pick up the poop. If they have a shitty yard, I let the poop lie (because if I have to look at your shitty, unkept, wild Bermuda filled yard, then you kinda deserve it). nice yards get the poop scooped.

I don't think so, unless your dog chooses the spot closest to your neighbors house to poop. But it is still illegal in city limits. Contaminates the run off water which goes in to the storm drains and runs out untreated into creeks and rivers.

The worst is when your dog has runny shit. All you can do is pick up about a third of it while the rest of it gets pushed flat along the ground.

I use to say I'd never pick up after my dog (before I had a dog)...but now I'm pretty religious about it. Its pretty much one of the most inconsiderate things you can do is leave your dog's shit for someone else to step in.
