I went to the one on Spring Forest on saturday evening. There were so many more people than I would have expected. There was no parking so people had to park at triangle town center and take a bus over. The line was beyond ridiculously long the wait had to be well over an hour. I just walked which took me like 10 minutes haha. They said the tethered balloon rides sold out in the first 30 minutes so for most people hoping to ride in one it ended up being a lot of waiting in the hot sun only to find out they were out of luck. The balloons were nice and all but I mostly just went to get out and enjoy the nice weather.

^Yeah, it was sort of a logistics disaster, but if they keep having it then they will eventually figure it out. The biggest problem was the lack of food stands which caused 30+ minute waits in line and the not so kid friendly access. I drove to Zebulon straight after work and met the rest of my family since they were coming later. I parked at the stadium and walked 2 miles. People with lots of young children didn't want to do that.

The Balloon Fiesta is going on right now and there have already been two wrecks, but no one was hurt. One hit power lines and another hit a truck. I still want to take a ride someday.
