I got mine from a flea market in Columbia. They always have several smartphone case vendors. They also have vendors selling bootleg DVDs of movies currently in theaters.

i'll own up to that. but i never carry my keys in my pocket due to keypad entry. so the carabiner is either in my cup holder, by the front door, or in my desk.

I don't use a case because I prefer the size and feel of my phone without one, and have gone a year and a half so far without significant damage.

But it's pretty weird that someone actually has a problem with other people using a case.

I will agree that the otterbox defender is way too bulky, and any case with a cut out apple logo is just ridiculous. I had a case on my iphone for a few weeks but I made sure to get one without the tacky cut out.

hell yes. it keeps them sumbitches from coming out of my pocket when i'm working.

also my biggest gripe with the defender case is the screen protector. fucking terrible. mine always ended up with a bunch of dust stuck behind it.

I too use a carabiner. But mine has holes drilled for the split loops so they don't slide off if the clip is open.

my carabiner stays clipped on my woven belt so my cargo jorts dont fall down and make me trip over my tevas

meanwhile, my bulky wallet stays secure with the chain that goes to my the croakies that hold my oakley blades in place so i can use my microsoft account without distractions

this made me laugh so hard

I wonder how those new, supposedly thin, otterbox cases in the commercial look in person?

I have the commuter series case for my S4 and I LOVE IT. It gives this light plastic-covered phone the right bulky weight it needs to stay safely in my hands.

Had this one first (until the pink part starting to look dirty):

Now, I have that case but with the black hard case with the purple silicon inside.

As far as the Defender, it's too bulky and the screen protector that comes with it is AWFUL. I purchased the tempered glass screen protector from Verizon and I LOVE it.

Commuter is an okay case. But there are better cases that are slimmer with just as good protection
