I saw a debadged Japanese car that was tastefully riced up once...after keeping an eye on it for a bit I figured out it was an Optima.

Optima's are surprisingly rice friendly. I saw one with a Chevy Badge on it....

I also saw a G6 SS in crossroads yesterday. I was trying to get a picture but it turned. It had (bright orange) SS badges on the rear and both fenders. Car was silver

Can anyone explain to me why Nissan continues to make the Maxima on a FWD platform? At this point in it's lifecycle it is more or less just a gussied up Altima. What's stopping Nissan from selling a Maxima based off Infiniti's RWD sedan platform? Then it would actually be, you know, a sports sedan.

Sports Sedans don't sell all that well. Soccer moms don't like rear wheel drive.

And you lose the middle back seat.

^^If it's $10k less than a Q50 (G37 being discontinued after this year) then yeah you can still sell them.

^The middle rear seat still works just fine. And soccer moms don't buy Maximas, so I don't really get that comment If they switched the Maxima to RWD it's sales would only increase IMO. Plus that would also eliminate that godawful CVT transmission from the equation.

I plasti-dipped my 335i's "335i" on the back. Shit looks nice on red. Don't know why they used chrome from the factory.

Love it, car companies put too much chrome on cars.

my wife god mad at me for removing the dealer decal from her car shortly after we purchased it.

she explained why a few times, but i still don't understand.

related: why do people allow dealers to put decals on their cars? i always make sure they are removed before i take ownership, because fuck an ugly ass decal on my car.

I feel like car companies don't take pride in their badges. I mean, they make them out of plastic usually. I've noticed a lot of ford emblems that have just faded to silver.

^I've noticed that a lot with BMWs. It's metal but the paint fades/washes out. Surprising.

I agree. Another thing I don't understand is people that drive around with a front license plate that is basically an advertisement for Carmax or some other dealership. I guess it's the people that really, really don't give a shit what their car looks like.

Yeah but doesn't everyone take the stickers off their appliances after buying them?
