There are so many variables here that it's kind of bad math to just look at the net cost of a wedding. It'd be better to say how much you spent per guest.

A) $80 courthouse wedding. I guess more like $82 if you count parking fees.

I'm not married, but have attended at least one wedding in each of these price points - including one in the 6-digit range.

Conclusion: open bar is basically all that matters.

i don't want to post what i'm thinking ours will come out to....afraid my fiance will be grumpy tonight if he happens to see this post before getting home from work. he would not be happy with anything more than A, though he knows we've spent that much already.

E/F. Just the venue and officiant were $25K (venue including open bar for 6.5 hours, cocktail/hor d'evers and plated dinner). Pushed $30K with DJ and photographer. Rings, honeymoon, etc extra.
