We should drop study hall since nobody goes to State anymore, or merge Old School with the Lounge.

I'd say the Feedback Forum is a necessity, but since nothing ever gets done as a result of it, maybe it can go too.

^I've been there, it was pretty good. They had a nice wine selection and both of us enjoyed our meals. I'd say it's better than 518 West but not nearly as good as Cafe Luna.

I finally ate some food for lunch there, it was very good. I got the pasta because I was curious about the fresh made pasta, I can't say I can really tell a difference, but perhaps a better palate can discern the difference.

It was very good and so was the appetizer all though I am pretty sure I shouldn't eat olive oil for at least a few days because I have had my fill. Sadly, I may be allergic to something in the food (I have an unnamed food allergy that I am being tested for, possibly more than one) because I was quickly ill for a few hours after

I'll have to check them out for their non-tofu options. Green curry is my jam. My favorite Thai place so far is Thai House on Falls of the Neuse. Thai Lanna is good too, but honestly I've only been to five Thai places in the Triangle total.

green curry chicken is my jam. their pad thai is good, as is the basil chicken but if you can cook at all it's super cheap and easy to make basil chicken at home

i made pad thai once at home...turned out pretty damn good. did some Vietnamese summer rolls too. they were good, but i had a hard time rolling them tightly.

honestly, I did not think I could ever be sold on tofu. The dish I had was tofu with cashew nuts, but I've also had their chicken with cashew nuts and that is also delicious. I have never picked Thai places out to go to because I have eaten at a few 'upscale' Thai places that I thought were gross and I just thought I hate Thai food.

^^this thread was about the minor possibility of such a forum. what can really be said in it to fill pages? there are tons of conversations about food in CC and other places and having them in one place would be nice, especially replacing shit nobody ever uses like Study Hall or merging Lounge and Old School (what's the difference?). But I agree with qntmfred that it's likely to take active topics away from Chit Chat - which is even more to say that the idea would be successful, but so much that it could impact one of the main "revenue sections" of this site. Had this happened in 2000 or whatever, it would have probably been great.
