The potential for a shit show/lulz fest was there, but all bullshit aside, RR provides a good service. I always kick down 5-10$ for a two block ride because....

1)Alcohol 2)Convienience 3)Empathy.

My only issue with those guys is sometimes they don't let you walk down the street in peace.

I was working at a bar on Glenwood south when RR first opened and got to see the first few employees get trained. A few co-workers and I paid one of the trainees $20 to drive the three of us up the hill on Glenwood while smoking a cigarette.

That was the only time I ever used a rickshaw.
