It was a short story turned into a movie. Then came the action figures, video games, comic books, etc. It wasn't as big as Ghostbusters, or TMNT though. Most of the people at the party were in their 30s and 40s, so they knew who I was dressed like. We were all teenagers in the 90s when Darkman came out.

^I got lucky. I found the right type of hat for $9 at Party City, I just happened to have the right color collar shirt, and I was able to borrow my mom's black trench coat that she doesn't wear anymore, so it cost about $15 because of the hat and gauze.

I'm lame as shit when it comes to Halloween. I have to either get bribed (heavily) or be really drunk to get dressed up and go out. This year is no exception. I actually have a good excuse of having to stay home and get work done this weekend while the wife goes off to visit her sister and go the Tenn/USC game. She will be taking our dog and dressing him up. Since I don't have a costume, I am posting his (as well as him trying on a witch's hat). He is going to be a Tennessee football player (my wife's alma mater):
