Mulaney is apparently horrible. The commercials look awful, but I love Mulaney's stand ups. I'd really like to see his original NBC pilot which was supposedly pretty great.

really enjoyed Gracepoint. I have not seen Broadchurch, but from some things i've read this is as close to a beat by beat remake that you can get. As soon as the female detective let the boy's name slip I couldn't help but think "damn, Skylar White is fucking things up AGAIN". But yeah, definitely in this show for the season!

i agree about scorpion, it's actually very enjoyable once you realize they're going to force feed each character's skills into a nice little package to solve the case. i do think they're going a little fast with the walter-whatsherface angle, but otherwise i like it

This is where shows screw up.

We had 3 seasons of "will they, won't they", and now that they're together, the show dynamic is going to be strange.

You have 3 happy couples(Gabe loves ol girl) and a politician on the team now. Going to have to go back to really focusing on the cases/science or it's going to be constant relationship issues that are just boring. Hopefully it doesn't turn into fiascos of Walter trying to be a father-figure. Hopefully they don't turn Jason Street into a big-bad trying to get Mr. Steal Yo Girl Walter back.

Just don't want this show pulling a Castle or Bones where the show was only interesting until the main love interests finally got together.
