Clempson's defense actually looked really good in the first half against UGA, and then having Todd Gurley and several other very competent backs to rotate with him to keep him fresh, wore them out in the second half. We don't have a player on the same level as Todd Gurley.

If we play like we did Saturday, this game is winnable. I just hope the team doesn't go in underestimating Clempson like a few on here seems to be doing. They aren't as good as they were last year, but this is still a good team. While they are 2-2, the losses are to UGA (#12) and FSU (#1 somehow?). Even if they can't slow down our offense, our defense has to step up to win this in death valley.

I still think Clemson's rookie QB is due a bad game. I just doubt it'll come against our defense. Our safeties have to stay deep -- he burned UNC on tons of deep balls -- and the interior line HAS to get a push. That's the strength of our defense.

Our backs aren't on Gurley's level (who is?), but I'd take the Shad/Dayes combo over just about any RB duo in the conference. Those two have been fantastic this year, and the line is opening up holes for them. Amazing how much a competent QB can open up the run game.
