Really that was the only time I corrected just for the sake of correcting her and it was really because I thought she being sarcastic at first but was already in a semi-irritated mood towards her when she snapped back that I was wrong.

Typically i'd share an opinion or be attempting to teach/share information on a topic i know about and it would turn into some sort of "no you're wrong". Another situation would be she would make very black & white statements so adding to the conversation i'd explore the conversation more and be accused of contradicting her.

real example.

Her: They do not have good sushi in France
Me: Really? how do you know? that is a bummer cause they are missing out!
Her: I went to two sushi restaurants when I was in Paris and they sucked
Me: yeah the sushi i had in germany suck but I'm sure there has to be a good up-scale sushi restaurant somewhere in France
Her: No there isn't

I later got texted about "why do you always have to contradict me"

It was obviously a meaningful and heartfelt conversation leading to the important decision to end the relationship. Accordingly, with great pause and reflection, she moved on to the next guy who could fulfill her emotions.

I'm seeing a lady for the 3rd time since last week this Saturday. I can tell you right now I am game for a relationship with her. That's new to me, I would say I'm nervous, but I'm rather excited about where it goes.

I've gone on a few other first dates with ladies that want seconds since our first date, I go and still have a good time with the other women, but she crosses my mind within the first 5 minutes of being with these other chicks. My thoughts are then back on the moment, and I have a blast with the current lady I am with.

I've never been at this junction of dating, but every one of these women offer something uniquely different. The first one, just meshes really well with.

I might agree with this to some extent except for this "every girl" business.

Surely, there are more people than just me who float through life aimlessly with no relationship plans and no pressing need for regular attention/affection. I mean, it's nice to be cared about or to feel like you're cared about, but it's not nice enough to hook yourself into a network of desperate people who juggle "backups" so they never have to go a few months without affection.

A lot of folks need to learn to be alone. Also, talk less. People need to talk less.

She sounds annoying and sometimes those really annoying traits are things you just cant get used to. Everyone has or does something annoying, it's finding a person whose awesome qualities outweigh the annoying ones and the annoying ones are things you can deal with. Two to four months of dating is the time to figure out if the chemistry works after you know those quirks. The chemistry wasn't enough here. Now you know what to avoid in a personality...also find someone with a little more geography sense.

Perhaps this the moral of the story. While the first two months were great there were some things she did a week or two before all the drama started that I felt were rude or very inconsiderate. I either didn't make an issue of it or i calmly told her how I felt and at this point she seemed to sincerely feel bad/apologize.

For example I invited her to join me for a quick dinner than to go on the Plaza Midwood Tuesday Night Bike ride halloween week because I she had just gotten a new bike. I figured it would be something she would enjoy getting to use her bike and seeing everyone dressed up, plus I was really looking forward to going myself. She ended up taking so long to leave just tinkering around the apartment (showering, doing dishes, etc) when I thought she would be on the way, that there would have been no way for us to even grab a quick bite to eat and make it to the ride in time. So I was just like "hey no biggie, we are going to miss the ride. Why don't we just hang out tomorrow." Having missed the ride, she ended up surprising me at the place i mentioned i was going to eat. After calmly explaining why it upset me she apologized and I never brought the subject up again.

Guess a better story would be on Halloween when we met up with her friends at the bar. An hour later I mentioned my friends were at the bar next door would you all like to go over there in a bit. She was like no but why don't you go say hi. We had only gotten one round of drinks (approx. $8). I left my card open in case I wanted another beer when I got back. I returned like 30-45 min later to find that she had racked up a $60 bar tab on my card. Apparently they did fireball shots, shared a pretzel, more beer. While I thought this was rude being I wasn't present. oh well fuck it, was only 3 months
