The first episode was WAY overloaded with nostalgia, they packed in every catchphrase and peak memory they could, and even took a stab at the Olsen Twins.

I've only watched 2 or 3 more after the pilot, but it seems to be taking on it's own story which is much, much better. It looks like original cast members are taking turns guest starring.

I'm surprised they gave Gibbler a kid the same age as DJ's oldest. Two kids who aren't related living across the hall from each other and about to hit puberty...there's no way to avoid some kind of thing happening between them.

2 points.

1) DJ and Steph are both SMOKING hot. DJ is definitely hotter though.

2) The show might actually be somewhat watchable if Kimmy's husband didn't have the most ridiculously fake accent ever. His character as a whole is just too much.

I was actually shocked how hot DJ became. Just didn't ever imagine that she'd become attractive. Looks like that show batted a thousand as far as hot chicks in the main cast.

I finished all the episodes the other day.

As the biggest Full House fan ever, I went in thinking it was going to be hokey. And yes, the first episode was very hokey and they pulled every sentimental heartstrings they could.

I'm glad they brought back one of my favorite characters, even if it was just for one episode...Harry Takyama!

agreed. they went nostalgia overload with episode 1, but started branching off into its own story for the rest of the eps. the girls are watchable enough to carry the show and along with the carefully balanced amount of cameo's from the original older cast, it's been a solid season. can't wait for the inevitable season 2.

Episode 1 was fucking horrible. I'm glad I stuck with it though because it got pretty good. I just wish they had taken more of a "no hugs, no learning" approach because as an adult I think the sappy episode wrap ups are pretty horrendous.

just finished season 2

so bad. so so bad

but I still loved it. It was hokey and cute. Why couldn't the original Kathy Santoni and Nelson be back for the remake? Loves seeing Viper
