I'd assume ITS is his school's IT department? Which apparently can track anonymous calls.

It's just the IT guys that handled the crank call "case" and did some sort of "investigation."

The last communication I had with them today (bbehe) said that the calls were forwarded from my old office number. So you might have been partially correct in your internal call theory. I don't know what that changes regarding my "Anonymous Call" email notifications. I hate Lync so much.

Maybe they got the real number from that station? I honestly have no idea. They give me bullshit answers regarding plenty of other queries, but at least in those cases I know when they're bullshitting. Phones/networking isn't my thing.

That's part of the reason I know now BlackJesus didn't call me. I haven't used that number in so long it would have been before we even began bickering. It has to be an ex-student.

I'd really just rather drop it. If that is who it is I really can't talk about it further. I don't know how many times I have to apologize, or why I'm even apologizing to you bbehe? Sorry I insulted your secret santa.

BJ is the one I actually wronged. I wish you would just accept I got harassed by someone at work, don't know shit about the phones or how their logging works, and jumped to an incorrect conclusion about BJ due to the stress I was under at the time (and the timing of the event itself). That's really all this is.

You can beat me over the head with your VoiP all you want since I'm ignorant of it / being jerked around by my own IT guys.

I can't control what the IT guys say, and I can only correct them when I know what they're talking about.

Anyone who has ever interacted with IT knows this simple truth. Usually they only hoodwink technically incompetent old people.

Why does it even matter about IBM? We never even established where BJ works. Remember my real life is the only real life involved in this stupid thing.

You haven't been a part of the entire conversation bbehe, unfortunately, even though you're enjoying it so much.

BJ and I already had the IBM discussion; I was under the impression he worked there before the ITS people mentioned it. I thought it had been mentioned here at some point but I was unable to confirm it using the search tool.

Similarly when BJ was sending me weird PMs he had confirmed I was a teacher via the search tool. I can only assume by your overreaction that he does indeed work there, so perhaps my use of the search tool was flawed.

I don't know him IRL, so what other explanation is there? When ITS asked me if I knew anyone there I said "no" even though my immediate reaction was "BlackJesus." There has to be a job or tech thread somewhere where it was casually mentioned.

It's not hard to understand and I think I've been very clear so far. bbehe is frustrated for whatever reason and wants to heighten the drama.

I've already said BlackJesus didn't crank call me at work, but I refuse to say I wasn't crank called at work. The location of said calls is coincidence. I have plenty of students who commute once a week / take online classes in the Raleigh area. This isn't far-fetched at all.

I'm seriously done this time, bbehe. Think whatever you want. Don't PM me anymore, please.

I suppose your IT department will probably tell you I called your work 40+ times sometime in the next 2 months though.
