^^^Eh, you only used half of my quote and took it out of context. The rest of that sentence is meaningful. I mean I care enough to use capital letters, punctuation, and the proper words as I learned them. Because I do negatively judge people that don't as either being too lazy, too uneducated, or both. Like I said, I don't care enough to go back and re-read everything I write and grammar check it to make sure it's perfect like I would a paper for a class or whatever. But it's not like I purposely choose bigger words in some sort of attempt of trying to make people think I'm smarter or whatever. That's not what I meant by that, but when you only use half of my quote, that's what you are seemingly implying.

I think that a lot of my posts tend to go for overly-dramatic flares and emotional responses. And yes, it's probably very ineffective if my goal was to change people's minds or genuinely debate them on a fact based issue. But you do have to consider the target of much of my responses and the "battlefield" we've chosen. I can make 100 valid points, and the "best" reply I'm going to get is that I must be mad because I used a lot of words. The alternative is, what? To use a couple of words to say "you're dumb" and move on? That's not exactly my style.

There was a post on reddit yesterday that said that it's difficult to win an argument against an intelligent person, but it's impossible to win one against an idiot. And that really hit home with me in light of this little skirmish I'm having with Bubblebobble. I KNOW that I'm not going to ever win this argument with him, because my point doesn't amount to anything more than he's stupid, and he's an asshole and like, if you don't already know that to be a fact then you haven't visited TWW before. My goal in whatever this is isn't to prove that I'm right and he's wrong, it's to annoy him into either making another couple dozen of these threads to show me how much I'm getting to him, or to make him leave me alone for good because he decides it's not worth the trouble. As I've said a few times now, I called a truce with him a few years back, and for whatever reason he has decided that he wanted to resurrect the bad blood recently. There's no intelligent discourse to be had here, so I'm not sure exactly what input you're trying to interject. But you do genuinely seem to be concerned, so thanks for that.

^^I'm not kissing his ass, I genuinely think he's a wonderful person that I consider to be a friend. If TWW had more people like him I would maybe feel bad for using it as a bit of a dumping ground from time to time, but instead this place is filled with people like you, so honestly, I don't feel that bad.

After I hadn't spoken to or about him for over 4 years? I'd kinda sorta call that going out of his way, and I'd definitely call it being a douche bag. I mean, I'm definitely guilty of being an asshole as I see fit, but it's not like I just randomly selected some super nice lovable guy and started talking shit about him or whatever. ^^Who helped you with that one? You should send this link to them. Ending a sentence with a preposition isn't as bad as people think and there's certainly nothing wrong with doing it in informal writing, which as we've already established, this is.

^I'm not saying you should be aware of it, I was only pointing out how you were wrong in stating that Bubblebobble isn't capable of being an asshole completely unprovoked.

By the way, if there's a dumber word than "salty" that's come to popularity lately, I'm having trouble thinking of it. Not surprising that you'd use that one twice in two posts now.

^^Yeah, but again, you're taking my "look intelligent" comment out of context. I'm not saying that everything I do is designed to make me look intelligent. If that were the case I wouldn't even acknowledge that half the idiots posting in this thread even existed for fear that I might get lumped into a group with them. I just mean, in a text based medium, the only way to know something about someone is by what they type, and how they type it. If you don't even try to appear educated on a basic level, then I'm going to assume that you're not. That's all I meant by that. It's probably really easy to look through something I've written and pick out a couple of mistakes here and there, but by and large anyone should be able to tell that I've at least got a basic understanding of how the English language should work. Based on every single post he's made in this thread, you definitely can't say the same thing about someone like FriendlyFire for example. Or someone like blackjesus who has proven literally hundreds of times that he doesn't know the difference between the word yea and yeah. I'm better than that, I'm smarter than that, and quite frankly, I don't care if that makes me look egotistical. Personally, I think claiming that I'm smarter than BlackJesus is like claiming that I'm taller than Verne Troy. It's just not that big of a deal and plainly obvious to anyone with eyes.

Why are we here? Who's fault is this really? You say I'm in defensive mode, and there's definitely some truth to that, but why are people giving Bubblebobble a pass in his role in all of this? Yet some genius had to come along and make a wisecrack about how we should compare notes about how Bill Gates and Steve Jobs' dicks taste. But that's cool, right? Why should we be allowed to have a discussion about the cost margin of laptops when you can jump in and insult us both on something completely unrelated?

So you see why I don't exactly bother to take anything you say with any amount of seriousness or intellect. Because you've never shown either to me. It's fine if you want to just assume that I'm an asshole, but shit, if you're going to call me out on it, you can at least acknowledge your role in helping make me that way.
