^^^, they both committed felonies by falsifying the document when they signed that it was truthfull.
Let's make more laws that they don't care about.

The laws are already in place. It was a system failure. Again, let's work with what already exists as opposed to putting more, meaningless, inneffective, restrictive, laws in place.

Seems odd to call the existing laws meaningless and ineffective, directly after noting how those same laws aren't being applied correctly.

Maybe poor syntax....
Any new laws would be meaningless, inneffective, and pointlessly restricting seeing as we already have laws on the books that could have stopped this if properly maintained and enforced.
