I admire this effort like crazy.

I'd love Rowan to sink some threes, but his defense has been impressive.

And I'd like guys to finish some of these put backs, but just getting the rebounds has kept them in the game against a pretty talented team.

I coached high school girls basketball for a few years and recruited middle school girls/ watched my mentro coach a middle school girls dynasty. I never saw girls shoot like that on an organized level.


I admit i don't watch much womens basketball but In the amount I have watched (admittedly only the top 10 or so teams), I've never seen an underhanded free throw. I'll retract my statement if you can accurately explain a link to the womens game.

This is actually a good showing against one of the best teams in the country. If we played like this everynight, we'd be fine. The problem is we play to the level of our competition. (see vt letdown)

They had a dynasty at the feeder middle school but all the girls were going to another school for high school because that school had a big time sports program. i started a girls program and recruited the starting 5 from the 8th grade state championship and had them all starting as freshmen. It was still a tough year because they were undersized going against women but they were really good as jrs and srs after i was gone.
