^thank you. i feel conflicted because the victim of domestic violence got arrested due to an outstanding warrant. the cop said she wanted my number for bail and i declined, however i offered to pay for a hotel room for her out of pocket so she could get cleaned up and have a safe place to stay. i also gave her information about local shelters for domestic violence victims and shelters where only women are allowed. i asked the police to convey this advice to her when she was sober but they said "not getting into it"
