Also scanner traffic says "the threat is over" but they are not ready to completely clear the scene and release people to the building and their cars.

ABC11 chopper just left scene and live feed over. Wonder if they were running low on fuel or just decided it was not worth shooting anymore.

BlackSheep Mostly that was probably the stampede out of the mall. Once out (watch some of the TV coverage) they were escorted in lines out the front of Crabtree, across the street, and over to Marriott. That takes some organization and that was done pretty quick I bet. So all in all, not bad handling. In any panic situation, theres probably people scared even after being out that had to be responded to. Ive not heard of any new calls in a few minutes, mostly just continued care of existing ones.

I think a few fire units were released.

On a side note, I wish there was more coverage of this car flipped on 440 E. Theyve called 5 different fire units for it from different districts, which makes it pretty involved and large (possible multiple cars).

Police will keep those details (if any) close for a bit. That said, they didnt start doing a formal investigation until at least 430-445 when they started calling for witnesses (see my above post).
