I might wear my glow-in-the-dark Misfits' crimson ghost tee-shirt if I go out

and maybe my Ratbones hat

^I will, if I get a good one. I'm dressing like a clown! It's going to be interesting to see how many clowns, politicians, female ghost busters, and gorillas will be there.

^No. I wore my Darkman costume from 2014 to another friend's house since I was invited at the last minute and the traditional party I go to every year didn't happen because the host and hostess went on a cruise during Halloween weekend! Everything is back to normal this year though!

^ But that happened in October 2015, and you didn't know in October 2014 it was going to happen the following October, right? If so, you have been waiting for tomorrow since October 2015, not 2014.

No. He anticipates Halloween so much that he has been waiting since his party ended in Oct. 2014. His setback in 2015 just prolonged his waiting even more.

LOL! That's not how it happens. I'm never first to any party, or the last to leave. BTW, I was the unofficial winner. No one else was dressed as awesome as me. It wasn't the best showing this year. I was the only person who based my costume off of current fads/news. There were no other clowns, political costumes, or Harambe. I heard those were going to be some of the popular ones this year. It was a lot more retro 80s/90s. Not that there is anything wrong with that. We had G.I. Joe, Nightmare before Christmas, Princess of Power, and He-Man. Oddly enough usually I am the one dressing like something from 10+ years ago, but not this year.

More apologizing over something that is a non-issue.

When I was younger we used to dress up like Pilgrims and Indians at schools for Thanksgiving and no one was offended.

Because when you were younger, racism was more widely accepted? That's your argument?

When our parents were younger, it was legal to openly discriminate against people based off the color of their skin. That doesn't mean people should not be offended by it.

I swear to God, you have the logical reasoning of an 8th grader.

Is there a history of black people dressed up as whites to make racist jokes about while supporting the system and laws that hold them down at the same time that I'm not aware of?

It's ok to dress up as black characters, just not to paint your face black to do it. As long as "Dorthy" didn't paint her face white, there would be no reason to think there would be a problem. And really, you can't offend white people so even if she did paint her face white it's fine.

So, you saw two black people dressed up as fictitious characters, instead of real people identifying with a culture? Sweet.

I'm willing to bet no one dressed in white face. Even if they had, the analogy would be purely superficial.... Seeing how there is no historical context of blacks donning white face costumes to demean, insult, and subjugate the minorities who were the target.

I'm offended that MSN.com referred to Hillary Duff's costume as the racist "Native American" term, instead of the preferred "American Indian" term.

So basically, its just your own opinion that you had the best costume.

That's also a pretty lame clown costume. For someone who gets hard thinking about Halloween...you often come weak with the costumes.
