Cubs title defense is officially on! This should be a pretty good post season especially on the NL side. 9/28/2017 3:42:19 PM |

I still don't like the 1-game playoff, but I prefer the pitcher duels to 6 combined runs in the first inning. 10/3/2017 8:59:48 PM |

Baseball thoughts ...
Cubs bullpen is complete garbage, and they blew their Wade Davis load last night. I think the Dodgers end their repeat run tonight unless Quintana can go 8+ innings. (I do love q, but i think he gets toasted tonight)
Yankees bullpen is the opposite. The Robertson/Kahnle (sp?) trade has made their pen a thing of beauty. This is the easiest Yanks team to root for I can ever remember. Maybe it's the non A-Rod factor.
Also -- can we please get a damn shot clock in between pitches already? Or at least a rule where batters can't adjust their batting gloves 10x between every pitch? Drives me insane. 10/19/2017 3:42:07 PM |

Yeah unless Kershaw has a post season choke meltdown again tonight this is probably it. I dont see them winning 3 in a row against Kershaw, Hill, and Darvish along with their bullpen. 10/19/2017 3:55:44 PM |

should have started kershaw and went from there.
Has the dodgers management always been reactive and not pro-active. It seems like I can tell when a pitcher is done and they wait till the bases are cleared before they take him out over and over. I guess they are trying to get the most out of every pitcher but they had kershaw on such a short leash in game 5 and in hindsight, they win easily if they let him go 7. 11/1/2017 9:31:37 PM |

its so frustrating that they gave away all those runs in the 1st and 2nd. Almost as frustrating as pulling kershaw in game 5.

You knew that was gonna happen once ohtani went to the angels. I guess he will DH? Or judge will DH? Will be interesting to see how they handle that. Some hitters are actually worse when they dont play the field 12/9/2017 9:40:45 AM |

I would think Gardner would DH and Stanton/Judge would be LF and RF, although I'm sure the DH spot will rotate among them all at some point. I think they want Aaron Hicks to play CF.
Seems like they'll be able to hold onto their no. 1 prospect Gleyber Torres in all this, too. 12/9/2017 10:40:41 AM |
