A stock CLS63 (non PCE edition) with low mileage is worth the low end of what you suggested. By law, they need to pay me the value of the car, including the upgrades. I think it is unreasonable to comp this out versus a stock one.

They are also now using an appraiser (have not invoked the appraisal clause yet). They came up $10K over their opening offer, but acknowledged they'd be coming up higher after getting an appraiser involved. They did not ask me to accept their most recent offer, so I'm waiting for them to come back with a new floor for negotiations.

Their first offer was $53K.

Then they came up to $64K.

This AM, after getting an appraiser involved, they come up to the low $70s and I told them we were getting close.

Hoping to settle by tomorrow, as I'm flying out Friday to get the next go cart.

ITT I learned a 4800lb S63 is a "go-cart"

^add 646 ft lbs of torque and 577 hp and it is a go cart. 0 - 60 mph is 3.8 sec without modding the ECU. Will wait for warranty to expire in 10,000 miles before I do that

What are the policy limits of the Person with Erie? Are you close to their limits for Personal property damage? It would probably be good to know, I think the state minimum is 25k.

I got a professional appraisal and was very happy with the results.

We ended up settled for $77.5K. I have since purchased the 2014 Mercedes S63.
