We’d have redshirt senior Jalan McLendon, who I have very little confidence in. And redshirt freshman Matt McKay who I think got praise this year on the scout team. And of course true freshman Devin Leary. Would be great to get one more season outta Finley, and if Leary is as good as advertised turn it over to him in 2 years.

Actually the Sun Bowl is tied for second oldest bowl after the Rose Bowl, and is 84 years old. The 50 years is how long it has been broadcast by CBS.

Wake over TAMU was also pretty good. Hard to say which is the "better" win. Both teams had lame duck coaching staffs.

^One game was MUCH further than the other. If you don't think the distance matters, check the ACC Results since it started the bowl-tie in back in 2010. ACC is now 2-6 with GT being the only other win back in 2012.

Factor in Wake was basically a home game in Charlotte.

Also factor in we didn't have our future top 10 pick who was healthy but sitting out of the game and that Wake didn't even cover the spread(3.5pt favorites), I'd say we edge them out.

Sad, but yes, we had the best bowl performance in the ACC this year.
