We are not a good enough program to get away with stupid ego driven bullshit like that. Same as the patsy scheduling last year. If you're a good enough coach to get away with not doing absolutely everything in your power to game the system, more power to you. We aren't at that stage, not right now.

We can't compete in the ACC which Beverly as the starting pg and DJ out. Makell and DJ are our two best players and we will always struggle without them in any ACC game.

That Daniels play was brutal

But also Bryce's late TO's in regulation (and the fould) and OT were killers.. Hard to be too mad bc he was the only one scoring but man.

We desperately need funderburk, Bates was no threat on offense. Also Markell or even Blake Harris would have been a help tonight. Bryce and Daniels running point results in alot of no pass possessions. Get well Markell

We need better players. End of the day, we see the limitations in Braxton, Daniels and Bryce. Bryce played well, dominant even, but dominant from a truly dominant talent doesn't lose a game they take over to Georgia Fucking Tech. He made a ton of tough shots, none of which were 3s, and had 2 free throws all game, but 7 turnovers. He's a good squad player at the ACC level, not a star.

You don't have to have stars if you have truly elite, top 5 in college basketball level, coaching. Chris Beard, Bill Self, Stevens when he was in college type of coaching. I don't see that yet. We didn't KNOW Tony Bennett had it after 3 years, so we don't know Keatts won't get there, but the chances you lucked into one of those guys is low. That means we need the stars, which means I'm going to keep bitching in the recruiting thread until we get more shots at landing one.
