My brother had his test this morning. They stick that super long swab up your nose. He said it was extremely unpleasant. He has to wait a few days for the results. This is all in Florida, BTW.

My brother had a horrible cough, really bad fever, no energy, and lost his sense of taste for awhile in mid-February after a cruise.

He didn't get tested for Caronies since not many people were thinking about it back then, but I bet he had it.

One of my close high school friends, living in NYC, is now coming off the flu along with his wife. He is the 1 friend of mine who is most reckless with his hygiene, at least beyond brushing teeth and showering. Wife panicked at one point and went to the hospital, but they sent her back home. I don't think either of them were even actually tested, and now that both are resolving, I doubt they'll ever report anything.

So after following up with my brother is seems that he doesn't have Covid-19. But whatever tests they gave him said that he has Step and two other viruses.

He through he did have Covid-19 for while because Florida has a page where they update case information and there was someone in his county, with the same age and gender, getting their positive result the same day. He figured it was him, but it was some other 32 year old white guy in his county.

In other news, he still feels like shit but he doesn't think he'll die.

It looks like the CO's have just lost control of the cell block, and retreated until reinforcements arrive. But who really knows??!
Cell phones are pretty common contraband. The CO's jacket could have come from one of the offices the prisoners ransacked.

My close friend and coworker who lives in Boston just lost his grandfather to this on Wednesday. His grandfather was in relatively good shape and was healthy last Thursday. He got a bad cough and fever Friday, was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia symptoms Saturday, had organ failure Tuesday and was taken off life support Wednesday. Scary shit
