Stafford and Goff are very similar quarterbacks quality-wise.
Stafford has great career numbers, but he is also 6 years older than Goff.
LAR traded Goff away and then went and picked up Odell Beckham Jr and Von Miller.
What ifs are worth shit, but Jared Goff could have won a championship with Cooper Kupp, Beckham, and Miller.

I don't have the stats to back it up, but Goff seems like he's playing better football for Detroit than he did in LA most of those years. It's one of those trades where both teams kind of won, imo.

Yeah Goff fits the Detroit offense much better than he fit in LA. Also at the time of the trade, Stafford was just better. He might not be now because he's old, but peak Stafford >> peak Goff
