^^You can get some of them in that $40-$50 price range I believe, but I figured I'd get one of the better ones where the weight is distributed best, rather than something that's more top-heavy

I will probably get a weighted vest soon. For a few months now I have been using weighted ankle/wrist weights. As soon as I get home from work, I change and put them on (1 kg/wrist + 2 kg/ankle). I keep them on until I go to sleep. On the weekend, I keep them on all day unless I am going out, but lately, I have been keeping the ankle weights on even when going out if not going too far.Once I take them off after having them on for a few hours and doing lots of chores at home, I feel like I am going to float away; 'tis a great feeling!I want to get new, slimmer ones that I can wear under pants legs so that I can wear them to work. Now that would be so great for my health!

Anyone train twice a day? Trying to figure out how that works without one workout not cannibalizing the other.

Train doesn't have to mean lifting weights both timesCould be like weights in morning, yoga in evenings or something

I mean like everything, it depends, but I guess the question is: why? Do you prefer to work twice a day? Do you have goals that you don't feel you can complete once a day? Are you The Rock?Seems like it's unnecessary or counterproductive for the vast majority of people.

Is this a decent post workout snack? Also had a glass of fairlife milk so thats like another 14g of protein

https://www.thepediet.com/A good heuristic to that is carb grams + fat grams < protein grams. Eggs are about 1 to 1 but almost all sausage has way less protein than fat. Chicken and turkey not included.

That is really encouraging to hear. I wish I could do that for like 50 more years straight. That is exactly what I wish was commonplace.

Any tips on showering at the gym? Maybe i'm thinking too hard but it seems like a big PITA. Shampoo/conditioner, bar soap, body wash, towels, cologne, tooth brush, toothpaste, hair products like pomade, gel, etc...Just can't figure out how to make it work
11/29/2025 12:15:23 AM
Why do you need teeth stuff? Do that before you leave the house. You're a guy, get an all in one soap to use for your hair face and body.If your gym has lockers you can lock, leave it there.[Edited on November 29, 2025 at 6:44 PM. Reason : Shower shoes though ]

Our lockers have to be taken by the time they close or they cut lock and empty locker, at least thats what my neighbor phill saidMy shampoo/conditioner is a 2 in 1. Got shower shoes. Got this yesterday: https://a.co/d/jgozafCOh and clothes, maybe another pair of shoes, omg just seems like juice not worth the squeeze

I don't think I can ever see myself going to a strip mall gym. Carmichael 4 life

The planet fitness near me is like that. I hate going to other stores in the strip cause the parking lot is so full etc
