Don't try to take over all of the territories, you just lose them and have to retake them later in the game.

After you do some of the Las Venturas missions you come back to Los Santos and the Ballas and Vargas control everything, you end up having to retake it all. Some of the missions then are actually just retaking territories with Sweet.

word...well i'll probably take over all the territories before i go to venturas (i still only have los santos unlocked)...just so i can drive around without getting shot at everywhere or so i can get my respect up and money up some more

i did swim towards san fiero and SOMEHOW got a jeep up some big ass hill with 4 stars the whole time and got in a plane and got hit with a missile on takeoff, but managed to control the plane for a couple more minutes even with one engine on fire...then i crashed and died and went back to los santos...at least some more of my map got lit up like that

if one of your territories gets attacked and you are too far away to defend it, just get in a cop car or cab or similar and hit R3 to start a mission and then get out the car and end the mission and the attack should have stopped w/o losing the territory. hope that helps.

and the 2nd part of the chiliad challenge is a pain.. i won the first race on my first try, and the last one took like 3 tries

the 2nd took a good hour

but its worth it

The Liberty City mission is all in an Italian restaurant, there isn't an outdoors area to explore. I was really excited about that and was disappointed.

^I gave up on the Zero missions for a long time, then I came back after beating the game and beat them on the second try. Flight school helped. You don't burn fuel as fast if you just land the plane and keep your machine guns blazing, so I just landed then ambushed the couriers when I needed to.

^i think i read on gamefaqs.com there was someway to leave the building before completing the mission and you could go around Liberty and take pictures or somethin...apparently they have a good bit of the city, detail-wise...dont feel like looking it up but theres some huge ass faq that has all the codes, glitches, unlockables, etc...it was on that page i think

zero's 2nd mission with the remote-controlled airplane is pissing me off. i can kill all 5 couriers, but i never have enough fuel to make it back to the rooftop. i usually go for the 3 couriers that are in close proximity to the rooftop first, but then it's those last two that i have to fly out for awhile to get that screw me up.....any suggestions?

what i did was the kill the one thats right there when you take off, then go straight and kill the next van, after that you should come head on against the bicycle which is easy, then go kill the 2 guys on the sanchez, that was the only one i had to land and kill, cuz they will run if you dont kill them right away(might as well kill yourself if that happens and start over) the last van is easy to kill and from there just hope you have enough fuel

Just land the plane on the ground and blaze away with your guns to take out the couriers. You don't burn much fuel sitting there and its a hell of a lot easier than strafing your target. Thats the best advice I can offer.

it only took me like 2 times to beat this mission using that strategery.

^For the last courier on the bike, he would just shoot me up, and I would explode. I probably played that mission 50 times, before I buckled down and mastered the controls for that stupid plane. It helped a lot though to be able to approach the guys when they were stopped, that way you could just start shooting them early, and have them killed by the time you were on them. The plane auto-aims to a certain degree, so you just have to be pointing near them. If you can't get it by landing, there are some good guides online. Go easy on the stick, and use the L/R buttons in conjunction with the analog stick to turn cleanly and sharply.

I can pretty much beast that mission now though.

so i'm at this part where i have to start a bunch of gang fights and regain my territory before i can advance to the next mission. how many territories do i have to win? i always end up starting a gang fight when a cop is around, so i'll have to kill him before he kills me, then i end up killing all the cops that show up and get 4 stars on my wanted level.

Other than that I don't know what to tell you. You have to take back some with whats-his-name, but after that your free to do more missions. I just went ahead and retook all of the territories then.

Just don't shoot back at the cop. You'll only have one star, so run around the corner and do your gang war thing until it goes away.

in the beginning of the game you don't have to regain any of the territories except for the initial one. look on the map harder, and go do the mission that will advance you.

ok, so i just beat the game, but i'm a lil disappointed now. as long as this game was, i still want more i wasn't expecting it to end the way it did, it just felt like something was missing

Go for 100%. I did all kinds of shit after I beat the game and only got up to around 87%.

FYI: Take the jetpack to the restricted area and take the 2 tanks there back to your garage at the airstrip. You can clean house on the vigilante missions then.

It's total bullshit that you get a 4-star wanted level just for going to an area too early.

I just started playing the game last week, made it to the Angel Pines section today, then I decided to swim across the bay for the hell of it. As soon as I got on land I got 4 stars, headed to a safehouse on the map, and wasn't allowed to buy it yet.

Yeah, shes only between certain hours and she won't appear if you're in the same area. Just look up San Andres on the intarweb and find out when shes home, then steer clear until those hours.
