i'm really not a big bridal fan, but some of those dresses are awesome. good eye, rjr. pretty flowers too, but that sorta bores me.

toooo much fancy for me

It's all very pretty to look at, though.

Monique Ihullier (sp) makes some gorgeous bridal stuff.

^stargazer lillies are AWESOME. I'm going to carry flame lilies...there's not much I'd insist on, but I would for flame lilies.

hahahahahah

no no no, nothing like that
i havent had my addy in a week, and i tend to go ocd on some things
and i like pretty dresses and flowers and fun cakes

i am not planning out my wedding or what our future kids names will be or where we'll retire
dont you worry

^haha, of course! i'll be glad to help pick things out. i like shopping for people, my parents have told me numerous times that i could make an utter KILLING doing personal shopping (i have to know the person pretty well to be able to figure out what theyll most likely like, or i have to be given an idea of the kinds of things they like - which would be really easy if i was told to just pick out stuff i like)

[Edited on June 6, 2006 at 11:57 PM. Reason : lol]

^^where i worked last fall, the girl who i replaced and resigned cause she wanted to work in her familys bakery helping her mom design wedding cakes and the like. and after seeing the decorations for her wedding, that she and her mom did, all i can say is that she has an awesome eye for design

pawprint - they're more commonly known as glorioso around here. Here, they are often purple, red and white. What I've posted below are my ideal, and what I'll have.

They were my grandmother's favorite flower, and the stargazer her second favorite. Sadly, I still have a hard time appreciating stargazers, because they were so prominent at her funeral.

SO I kind of have a problem girls....

I keep buying Juicy Couture...
And it's way out of style.
I bought a cute bowler handbag and a charm bracelet the other week
the handbag has a huge Juicy logo on it
i like it and it makes me happy
but i look like a retarded trendwhore who missed the newsflash
this isn't even all of it:

What can I do? It does not fit in with my chic Victoria Beckham for Rock & Republic jeans, my Diane von Furstenburg wrap dress, my Vineyard Vines polo or my Ralph Lauren Oxford Shirts. My Marc Jacobs heels and my Abercrombie t-shirts and my Coach Snow boots...they all scream Inadequate!!! Out of Style!!

What's a girl to do?

while ill appreciate flowers, even if they are the standard pink or white or red roses, a guy that gets me flowers that are kinda funky (be it lillies or iries or even fun/different/unique colored roses)... yea hes golden
and ive only had one guy get me flowers that meet that criteria, and knowing him it was by accident (ie he just picked the first flowers he saw that looked good), lol

By and large, I'd rather someone not waste the money on flowers. If he spends money on flowers, it should be because we're planting them

dude

Tulips...oh man
I'm going to go bananas this fall planting tulips in the yard for spring. I don't know why they please me so much. Might be because they're so bright, but they're also a really orderly and neat plant (as opposed to, say, irises)

i highly reccomend buying the bulbs from a landscape supply/flower bulb company - if you're going to be planting them yourself. (ive seen bulb packs of 10 and 30 and higher)

Thanks for the links.

My gladioli are dying, and I can't figure out why. Might be dogs pissing on them, since they're near the mailbox, or it might be because the bulbs weren't the best (lowes...i figured we'd be ok to buy seeds and bulbs from them >.< ).

This year's gardening has proven to be an unbelieveable learning experience.

for seeds, id say you're fine with lowes
and for common plants like daffodils, i wouldn't worry about buying bulbs from there either
its when you get into specialty flowers (especially ones youll be potting and keeping in doors) that i think its worth a little extra cost to get bulbs from a source you know specializes in them

I didn't even tangle with indoor plants this year. For one, there's nowhere in the house with enough sun/windows that get direct sunlight for more than 20 minutes.

We did go to campbell's nursery, and I sated my desire for geraniums

I've got morning glories, convovulvus, and african daisies in hanging baskets, and a bed of misc flowers that got badly fucked up in a storm, and that's just now starting to come in.
