It really was a great win for the guys. And Chad LaRose got his first NHL point on an assist of Cole's first goal!

I can't wait for the boys to be back in town. I miss seeing hockey in person!

Good win. Not great by any means. "Good" because we keep our lead to 3 pts. in the southeast, plus Cole may get his engine going again. "Great" would have been if the entire 3rd period wasn't crappy...the Canes got soft, LA took advantage of it (luckily not enough), and Gerber was constantly molested in net. I'll take the 2 points though, and hope for better things resulting in a win at San Jose (although I'm scared about that game...)

As much as the refs blew ass during the game, it was mainly the canes' fault for not showing up to play in this game until 10:00 left in the 3rd period down by 3 goals

BTW, you can call both tripping and diving. It's definitely a copout, but it's written into the rules casebook in the case of impeding contact accompanied by obvious embellishment.

With that said, Kevyn Adams doesn't embellish.
