just got back from the IMAX preview...it was, in a word...AWESOME

first of all, see this movie in the IMAX theater...i'm not always a huge fan of forking over twice as much money to see a movie in IMAX (of course, this was free), but it was, without, a doubt, worth the price of admission

heath ledger was, by far, what made that movie...he plays an amazingly convincing joker...i don't think i've become that emotionally invested in a movie in a long time, but his role gave me chills...aaron eckhart was a perfect choice for harvey, IMO, as well

it was strange that some of the movie was in widescreen format (usually non-action scenes), and some was in full-screen...i assume that's unique to the IMAX version, but i don't know

G105 was there (i didn't know they would be, i got my tickets from a friend)...bob looks different than i remember (i haven't seen a picture of him in years), but kristin is pretty hot...i don't listen to the showgram except on rare occasions, so it was kind of cool to put faces to the names...also, i got a free parfait (i don't know why it was there on the table, but i asked bob if i could have it and he laughed and said sure...i don't feel like i've been drugged...yet )

go see this movie

i think im gonna try to get tix to a midnight showing at crossroads tomorrow as well. i dont want to wait til saturday to see this. i'll watch it again in IMAX saturday since i'm sure it will be awesome.

Just saw it tonight as well...Ledger made the fucking movie! Incredible.

Oh and some of it was shot with IMAX cameras...hence the lack of widescreen in those parts.

I saw it last night. If you can go see it in IMAX go do it. It took my eyes a little while to adjust to the big screen but it was unbelievable.

i haven't seen this movie yet, but i saw BBegins at an IMAX in San Antonio (I don't think it played at the IMAX here) and it was a million times cooler than seeing it in a regular theater

i'm super glad TDK's been getting great reviews. some critics have already called it the best of 2008 [at least, so far] and others are saying it's one of the best superhero movies of all time.

yeah there were several scenes that were shot with the imax camera, actually more than any other feature film if i remember correctly - which is why ill be walking directly to exploris tomorrow at lunch when i get off work. im sure this will be a movie that i will see a couple of times though.

Saw it tonight at Raleigh Grande.
